At the entrance to the sanctuary is
the
imposing Sariska Palace. Built at the close of
19th century by Maharajah Jai Singh of Alwar,
this Palace was originally a royal hunting lodge.
Conveniently located 199 kms. from Delhi and 120
kms from Jaipur, Sariska Palace is today a Palace
Hotel with all the amenities to make the guest
feel like a maharajah. Each room is richly
furnished with original Louis Quartz and art deco
furniture. The terrace overlooking the virgin
forests with its deer herds, wild boar and a
variety of birds can be an unforgettable
experience.
Across the well-maintained palace lawns, it is
quite normal to see peacocks stroll by lazily. The
hotel can arrange jeep safaris to the nearby
interesting places. Among the other facilities are
tennis court, a viewing pavilion, and conference
hall.
With
its understated luxury, antique furniture,
furnishings and original work-of-art, the hotel is
a celebration of traditional values and gracious
living. To be there is to belong
